About this piece
Elegant antique Louis XVI style gaming table, in mahogany-stained wood or mahogany veneer, dating probably from the late 19th or early 20th century.
It features a refined and very balanced line, typical of Louis XVI taste: rectangular top with softened corners, finely fluted apron, tapered fluted legs and a small drawer on the front. The top appears to be designed in two parts, evoking old folding tables or gaming tables.
Its format makes it a very decorative piece and easy to integrate into an interior: gaming table, side console, small desk, living room table or entryway furniture. It will bring a classic and warm touch to a family home decor, chic flea market, cabinet of curiosities or eclectic interior.
Beautiful antique patina, with a warm and deep hue. The piece shows signs of use consistent with its age: scratches, marks, wear of the varnish, small losses and old marks on the wood. These imperfections bear witness to its history and contribute to its authentic charm.
