Antique veined red marble mantel set – clock and two bowls

This antique mantel set forms a harmonious three-piece ensemble in richly veined red marble with cream-coloured hues. The central clock is accompanied by two matching pedestal bowls, to be placed on either side on a mantelpiece, console table or sideboard.

The light-coloured dial is decorated with delicate floral garlands, Arabic numerals and finely crafted hands. Gilded foliate ornaments accentuate the lines of the marble. Each bowl is made from the same stone and rests on a square base, creating an elegant and balanced composition. The winding key is included.

The clock has been wound and tested: its mechanism starts, runs and ticks. Photographs of the balance movement and the back complete the views of the set.
