Giant opaline and orange metal pendant light, 1970s

This vintage pendant light humorously and elegantly recreates the silhouette of an oversized incandescent light bulb. Its generous white opaline glass globe diffuses a soft light, while its molded orange base and gold-tone metal details give it a decidedly Pop and Space Age presence.

Stylistically dated to the late 1960s or 1970s, it evokes the designs of this period inspired by Ingo Maurer's famous Bulb model. As no brand or signature is visible, it is offered without attribution.
