About this piece
Vintage desk from the 1950s-1960s, combining a red Formica top, a black tubular metal frame, and a wooden side cabinet.
Very representative of popular post-war modernist furniture, this desk appeals with its asymmetrical design, contrast of materials, and strong decorative presence. The red top adds a graphic and warm touch, while the metal base gives it a light and functional line.
The wooden side cabinet offers a practical storage space, closed by a door with a lock. The tubular base, footrest, and compact format evoke the school, workshop, or office furniture of the 50s/60s.
A piece full of character, ideal for furnishing a vintage office corner, a bedroom, an entryway, or a retro-style workspace.
