About this piece
Vintage Godin cast iron and enameled metal stove, probably dating from the 1920s-1940s, with a superb Art Deco design.
This vintage piece stands out for its very dark brown enamel with aubergine highlights, its architecturally structured front, its glazed porthole and its original metal details. The stove bears the Godin mark on the front as well as on the inside of the top cover. Its geometric design, circular side vents and compact silhouette give it a highly decorative presence, halfway between an industrial object, a vintage heating appliance and a characterful decorative element.
The stove still has its main visible elements: top hatch, glazed front door, grate/ash tray and internal elements. It has a beautiful patina of use.
Ideal object for decorating a country house, loft, boutique, restaurant, workshop or vintage chic interior. It can be used as a striking decorative element, an atmospheric piece or a collector's item centered around the Godin universe.
Vintage stove sold as is, not tested for use as a heater. For any functional use, a complete inspection by a professional is essential.
