About this piece
Sculptural single-stem vase in blown glass from the Mdina Glass factory in Malta, signed and dated 2013 under the base. Its asymmetrical organic shape highlights an abstract design composed of glacier blue, midnight blue, black and golden amber swirls, encased in a thick mass of transparent glass. The "Mdina Glass Malta" mark is present on the body and the signature "Mdina 13" under the base. The small visible bubbles are inherent to the artisanal glasswork.
