About this piece
Small oak side cabinet in a rustic Louis XV style, probably dating from the early or mid-20th century.
This charming piece features a beautiful antique patina, an open niche at the top, a central drawer, and a lower compartment with a moulded door. Its front is enhanced by lovely carved details: a scalloped top edge, a small shell motif, rounded stiles, and carved legs.
Its compact, vertical format makes it very easy to incorporate into any interior: as a bedside cabinet, hallway table, small telephone table, additional storage in a living room, or decorative piece in a bedroom.
The wood has a warm, deep colour with a pronounced patina that adds a great deal of character. An authentic, decorative and functional piece, ideal for a chic country, family home, elegant flea market, or vintage interior.
